A lovely recipe for a basic ribbed sock with an inverted cuff. The pdf (10 pages!) will take you through all steps and will show you exactly how to adjust the pattern so these socks will fit you perfectly.

I will show you how to knit the inverted cuff. And what you need to know to get the perfect flap & gusset heel.

These socks are knit in the round on 2.00 mm needles using fingering yarn. It should be fairly easy for intermediate knitters to adjust the pattern to other sizes/yarn weights.

I knit these socks in two colors. This means you will need two skeins. Depending on the size, you will probably need one full skein in the main color. You can use the rest of the second color as a contrasting yarn for a second pair (and possibly even a third pair).

For the inverted hem, you will need spare needles to pick up stitches from a provisional cast on. But if you don’t have another set in the same size, taking a set one size larger should usually work. You only need them to hold the stitches for one round.
