sockeye
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern has three different versions, a straight cowl, a flared cowl and a scarf. Each is knit in a different type of yarn. The flared cowl has optional beading instructions.
The stitch pattern is reminiscent of flowing water, which prompted me to name the pattern after the sockeye salmon which are prevalent here in the Pacific Northwest. Each year they brave swift flowing waters to swim upstream and spawn.
These neckwarmers will keep you cosy whether you’re here in the Northwest or elsewhere!
