PATTERN NOTES
These socks are worked in the round, from the toe up, with a short-row heel and increases during the calf. The feet are worked in a stripe sequence and the colourwork is charted.

To fit calf circumference: 30-34 (36-40, 42-46) cm / 12-13.5 (14-15.75, 16.5-18)in.
Choose size that best matches your calf circumference. To fit your calf length, adjust the number of chart rounds/chart repeats after working Chart 2, aiming to finish near your kneepit.

Calf circumference (unstretched): 28 (31, 34)cm / 11 (12.25, 13.5)in.
Leg length (unstretched): 37.75 (43.5, 49.5)cm / 14.75 (17, 19.5)in.
Foot circumference (unstretched) 16.5 (19, 21) cm / 6.5 (7.5, 8.25)in.

Coopknits, Socks Yeah! (4ply; 75% fine superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon; 212m / 231yds per 50g skein).
1 x 50g skein in each of:
Helium 1001 (C1) Krypton 1002 (C2)
Argon 1003 (C3) Xenon 1004 (C4) Radon 1005 (C5)
If substituting yarn
C1: 145 (185, 235) m / 160 (205, 255) yds. C2, C3, C4, C5: 125 (160, 200) m / 135 (175, 220) yds each, all in a similar yarn.
Yarn usage will vary according to foot/leg length worked.

NEEDLES
2.25mm / US 1 circular needles or DPNs. Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

GAUGE
40 sts x 40 rounds = 10cm over unstretched colourwork, after blocking.
34 sts x 40 rounds = 10cm over unstretched stocking stitch, after blocking.
