Socklet to Me
This is a simple, toe-up anklet that starts out in the round and switches to back-and-forth knitting for the opening. The heel is worked FLAT in short rows and is grafted together as the final step.
The flap detail on the instep is part of the pattern, but I encourage you to try something new and different to make it your own!
The pattern is written with fingering-weight yarn in mind, but the instructions leave it open to working with any weight yarn as long as you can try on the project as you go to get a perfect fit. I have listed no gauge as you can use whatever gauge you are comfortable with to make a sock just for you. Projects made with fingering weight have used approximately 30 grams of yarn for a pair. Your yardage/meterage will, of course, vary depending on yarn/gauge used.
I recommend working these using the magic-loop technique of knitting in the round, but it is possible to use dpns for the project.
