These socks were inspired by one of my favorite shows, Stranger Things. The faux cables mimic the shape of the cyclones of ash that spring up when pieces of the Mind Flayer are burned. With careful finishing, they can also be worn inside out, though the “Upside Down” of these socks is not as pretty and detailed as the “real world” side. The neon colors in my sample socks are a throwback to the colors of the 80s and the Jazzercise scene. The stitch pattern is easy to memorize and much simpler than it looks!

Purchase of this pattern includes a PDF with all the instructions you need to create these cuff-down socks, including directions for a slipped stitch heel or tube sock and two different options for the toe.
