This, then, is a quick and easy new-fangled sock (construction) pattern for you! Use your normal size needle that you use for sock-knitting and whichever style works best for you, whether it be 9” circulars, 40” circular for TAAT, Addi Flips, dpns … (the sizes given are merely suggestions; so pick one size!)

Knit them with your normal number of cast on (toe) stitches and sock (instep) stitches.
Knit them heel first as you would for a toe up sock - wha? wha?
Insert a short, sport sock cuff.
Knit the instep and toe(s).
Kitchener Stitch bind off.
