This is more of a recipe with a chart than a pattern.
I made this for a friend’s 3yr old, but while blocking it was large enough to fit my own head.
Knit on smaller needles it should be a good 6-18mo hat, knit in a DK or with an extra repeat (20st) it should be large enough for older children and adults.
It would be a good idea to line this if it’s meant as a winter hat.
