Puffs of pretty dandelion stitch show off the colours in that beautiful skein that’s just too special for socks! Is it cashmere? Alpaca? Keep all that softness at your neck and make the most of the dyer’s talent with this delicate, eye-catching design.
The cowl uses just 210 m of fingering-weight MC and 83 m of a contrast colour for the scalloped edge, so you can put your best scraps to work, too.
“Soffione” (sof-fee-oh-neh) is a name for the dandelion in colloquial Italian, recalling the “big puff “ needed to scatter the seeds into the wind.
