This super simple toddler dress is the cutest thing ever for your little princess! It’s made in two panels that you sew together, and the striping happens naturally from the yarn so you have very few ends to weave in - yay!
I used Lion Brand Coboo in Pink and Lion Brand Mandala Ombré in Balance but I think this dress would look cute in any colors you choose. You will need two different size hooks, though, because the yarn on the bodice is lighter than the yarn on the skirt. I used these:
Hook size G/6 - 4.00 mm
Hook size I/9 - 5.50 mm

This is the first toddler dress I’ve ever made so I can’t be exact with sizing. The dimensions are as follows:
8 1/2” wide at bodice, 10” wide at waist, 14” long

As you can see, it fits my granddaughter who is wearing a 2T now. I think you could adjust it a little bigger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the starting chains but I have no instructions for that included.
I used one skein of the Coboo in Pink for the bodice, and two skeins of the Mandala Ombré in Balance for the skirt. Part of the reason you need two skeins for the skirt is to match up the striping. I cut away some of the yarn in the skein to get the stripes to line up.
