This is a 12 page pdf file with instructions to make this fun scarf hat in four sizes from Toddler to Adult. Great for the beach or any time of the year you want a Bohemian look.

There are photos to show the beginner how to avoid a traveling seam, how to work a spiral seam and how to make a decrease (2sctog). There are also photo tutorials to show you how to make the button ties and the beaded suede cord tie shown in the photos.

This is a one skein project (worsted weight - 4).

Skill Level: Easy - Beginner

Dimensions:
These measurements are for the hat with scarf side tied up. They can be eased to fit a wide range of sizes.

Toddler (2-3): 16” circumference
by 8 1/4 “ deep (from top to brim edge)

Child (4-8): 18” circumference
by 8 1/2 “ deep (from top to brim edge)

Older children should fit one of the two adult sizes:

Small Adult: 20 “ circumference
by 9 “ deep (from top to brim edge)

Large Adult: 22 “ circumference
by 9 1/4 “deep (from top to brim edge)

Notions:
Heavy Elastic Hairband

Optional:
Large Buttons 1 1/2 - 2 1/4 inches in diameter (see notes at the end of the pattern for sizes).
Large hole beads (10mm)
Suede Jewelry Cord
Hairclip
