These mittens take a new, more modern approach to a special old Scandinavian colour knitting technique, familiar to some from traditional Lapland mittens, to create the raised 3D stripes at the back of the hand. This technique is very economical form of intarsia colour knitting. It’s worked in the round, using only a few meters of the colour yarn.

They are designed to fit to your hands perfectly and are available in three woman sizes: S (Small), M (Medium) and L (Large)

You can choose any 4 ply / fingering / sport weight yarn that fits the gauge. I recommend choosing a yarn with a little bit of lustre, such as Merino, Alpaca or wool & silk mix.
