Soft Serve Cowl or Scarf
Scarf is knit with soft and lofty cables, and cowl is created with sideways cables and finished with a button closure.
Washing and gently blocking is very important for the finished look of this cowl or scarf, as it relaxes the cables and gives the finished fabric a soft, lofty feel. Gauge is not critical, but should be slightly loose – if substituting yarn, I would suggest using one needle size larger that the recommended size for that yarn. The first stitch of every row is slipped purl-wise to achieve a neat edge.
