Soft Storage Container
PLEASE NOTE THIS PATTERN IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE ON MY INSTAGRAM PAGE @iloveblanket.
The Soft Storage Container/Small Loop Yarn Project pattern makes a small cylindrical-shaped container, suitable for use in a baby or toddler’s bedroom, a bathroom or vanity, or even living room or bedroom. There are instructions in the pattern to guide you how to adapt this pattern to make containers of any size. This pattern is designed as a way to use up your leftover yarn from bigger projects!
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Approx. 1/4 ball of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Mauve’).
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 5” diameter by 4” height (12.5 cm by 10 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Alize Puffy (European) yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a container with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more yarn and more loops to complete a container of this size.
