The sweater is slightly cropped and is perfect to pair with high-waisted pants and skirts. It is worked from side to side (the length of the row is the length of the sweater). The ribbed nature of the textured stitch used will add horizontal stretch to the sweater.

Front and back panels are made separately. The bottom ribbing is completed at the same time as the front and back panels. The shoulder line on the back side features horizontal rows of stitches, worked to create a visually striking accent.
