This pattern is knitted using a soft Super Chunky/Super Bulky yarn. The hat in the picture is knitted using Sirdar ‘Big Softie’ Super Chunky.

This hat is knitted flat on straight needles. There is a little sewing to do at the end.

You will need

2 balls (one of each colour) of Super Chunky knitting yarn (or 2 balls of the same colour for a one colour hat)

A Pair of 8mm/US11 and a Pair of 10mm/US11 straight knitting needles

Tension
10 cm – 12 rows
10 cm – 9 stitches
I knit quite tightly so if you are a loose knitter you may need to adjust your needle size down to ensure the right size hat is achieved.
