From Thien-Kieu Lam, the designer: “A campfire makes me think of respite in nature: a time to reflect and recharge. Similarly, I think that any sojourn that allows us to step away from routine is an opportunity to emerge with a refreshed heart and perspective.”
The design of this scarf reflects the types of sojourns we might take.
On one side, cables create structured lines, like established city streets or well-worn trails through a forest. The reverse side reveals a more organic motif, like the meandering path of a spontaneous journey. The tapered ends are an acknowledgement that every sojourn has a starting point and a final destination.
