Sol og Regn
(In English below)
Most of the pattern of the socks are ribbing and the smocking stitch is really easy to learn.
The socks are knitted toe-up and you can ether knit on Magic Loop (including 2-at-a-time) or double pointed needles after your preference.
Yarn does not have to be Opal: fingering weight aka 4-ply (420 meter/100 gram)
I advise against using sock yarn without a fair amount of wool: wool will try to get into its original shape, thus keeping look and ribbing effect.
As not with sock wool with a high amount of cotton, cotton will not hold the ribbing effect under use and the socks will loose their snug fit.
