Solandra Sweater
Solandra sweater is worked bottom-up and in the round. Firstly, the body section is worked to the under-arms, in half-twisted rib for the hem before the pattern on the body is worked from the chart. The body stitches are put on hold while the sleeves are worked, with the pattern mirrored on each sleeve and regular increasing to create shape. The body and sleeves are then joined and shaped with raglan decreases before the neckline is shaped with short rows. Finally, the neck is finished in half-twisted rib and the underarms are sewn closed. Once completed, the garment is blocked and the leaf pattern relaxes to shape.
