Solange is a cardigan knitted in stockinette stitch with a round yoke decorated with a frill. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up and has a seamless construction. You knit the body in one piece back and forth until you reach the underarm, where you divide the work in back and fronts. Three sets of short rows are made over the back to raise the yoke for a more comfortable fit of the neckline. The sleeves are knitted in the round until you reach the underarm sleeve length. Thereafter, you continue to work the sleeves and the body in one piece. You start with raglan decreases before you attach the frill and continue thereafter with a round yoke with decreases to shape the top of the cardigan.

If you prefer to steek your cardigan, add a desirable number of steek stitches at central front and knit the body in the round.

Solange är en slätstickad kofta som stickas nerifrån och upp utan sömmar. Oket är dekorerat med en volang. Koftan stickas fram och tillbaka i ett stycke upp till ärmhålet där den delas upp i fram- och bakstycke. Tre partier med förkortade varv formar oket och hjälper till att ge en bra passform över hals, nacke och rygg. Ärmarna rundstickas nerifrån och upp och stickas sedan samman med kroppen. Innan volangen stickas på görs raglanminskningar och när volangen är påmonterad görs minskningar för ett runt ok som formar halsringningen.
