Designed to give to each person as a party favor at an upcoming Eclipse Party, this coaster is a crocheted, worsted weight rendition of a partial solar eclipse.

Skill level: Beginner + (knowledge of simple stitch patterns and shaping)

Piece measures 5” at widest point. Coaster part (the moon) accommodates large cups up to 4”, and can be made larger with a larger hook.

Colors used were Lily Sugar’n Cream Cotton worsted (amounts are for 1 coaster):
