Cozy mittens representing the solar system using each planet’s astronomical symbol. Worsted weight & repetitive motifs make this pattern a quick & easy knit.

Left hand: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
Right hand: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

Pattern includes charts as well as brief written instructions.

Yarn & Yardage
Worsted weight yarn: approx. 110 yards / 100 meters in each colour (220 yards / 200 meters total).

Sizing
One size: fits small-medium adult.
Finished mitten measures 4” wide (8” circumference), 9.5” tall.

Needles
US 4 / 3.5mm DPNs, 9” circular needle (optional).

Gauge
7 stitches and 7 rows per 1 inch / 2.5 cm square in stranded knitting.
