This pattern contains instructions for 2 versions (styles) of this hat… the plain band and the button/tab band. It can also be made into a more fitted beanie, without the slouch, by leaving out a number of rows.

This pattern is written for teen/adult sizes only, and is worked in the round.

This Soleil Slouchy is sure to be the perfect accessory for your fall and winter wardrobe. It is both stylish and functional. Make it in one solid color or change it up with extra colors for a totally different look… the possibilities are endless! Recommended for Intermediate Crocheters. It has some terms that may not be familiar to beginners, such as foundation double chain. But there are lots of videos online to help beginners… plus I am available for any questions you may have. Sizing is adjustable depending on the length of the hat band you choose, and by going up or down a hook size to get the right size for you.
