The pattern (in US terms) for this round rug calls for T-shirt yarn (any brand), and a 15 mm crochet hook.

The finished rug makes a beautiful addition to any room! Tried and tested, the design of this rug means that it lies flat, and doesn’t ripple or curl upwards at the edge.

A rug of approximately 1 m in diameter will use approximately four 500 g skeins of T-shirt yarn. Fewer or more rounds can be worked to obtain rugs of different sizes.

The only additional material required is a large-eye needle, with which to weave in the ends.

Placing the finished rug on non-slip mesh (or crocheting a piece of non-slip mesh to the last round) is advised if it is to be used on a tiled floor.
