Designed using the national colours of Ukraine and featuring a symbolic sunflower motif all around the hat.

Materials needed:
50g Yellow DK yarn, 50g Blue DK yarn, Size 3¾mm (UK Size 9) knitting needles, darning needle.
If desired, a pompom could also be added.

This pattern incorporates Stranded Knitting.
Stranded Knitting is a relatively easy way to work two colours into the same row of knitting. Holding one yarn in each hand or dropping and picking up colours as you need them, the unused colour is stranded across the back and carried up the side of the work.
