Solo is a simple and modern pullover that you can make all by yourself. Although the pattern is suitable for adventurous beginner, the design has not been simplified – it doesn’t compromise on the fit or the finish.
The pattern provides detailed instructions and video tutorials showing some of the different techniques used. It will guide you through the knitting process by explaining every step, until you’ve got a finished garment to wear and be proud of.

Skills required:
Working knit and purl stitches, making a swatch, working in the round on circular needles and double pointed needles (or Magic Loop).
All the other techniques are shown and described in the pattern.

CONSTRUCTION
Solo pullover is worked in one piece, from the top down, with raglan increases. The neckline is shaped with short rows. At the underarm the sleeve stitches are put on holders while the body is worked even. The bottom edge of the body is shaped with some short rows right before the ribbing. The sleeves are worked in the round using double pointed needles or Magic Loop. The neck ribbing is folded double and sewn in place.

Intended to be worn with approx. 25 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE
20 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 cm square in stockinette stitch, worked in the round on the main needles, after blocking.

Yarn:
The sweater is worked with two strands held together.
Yarn A: Isager Alpaca 2, 50% alpaca, 50% wool, 250m/50g,
col. 61: 5, (5, 5, 6), 6, 7, 7 hanks
Yarn B: Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair, 70% mohair, 30% silk, 225m/25 g,
col. Dusty rose: 5, (5, 6, 6), 7, 7, 8 skeins
Or approx. 1080, (1120, 1210, 1330), 1460, 1580, 1700 meters of any yarn (held single) that gives you a correct gauge.

Needles:
4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles 60 cm and 80-100 cm for the body and a set of DPNs (or Magic Loop) for the sleeves – or a needle size necessary to achieve gauge
3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 40 cm for the neck ribbing, 80-100 cm for the bottom ribbing and a set of DPNs (or Magic Loop) for the sleeve ribbing – or a needle size that is 1 mm smaller than your main needles

Tröjans design kompromissar varken med passformen eller slutfinishen – i stället för att utelämna vissa moment förklaras dessa noggrant, vilket resulterar i ett plagg som ser bra ut och känns bekvämt. KONSTRUKTION
Solo pullover stickas i ett stycke, uppifrån och ner, med raglanökningar. Halsringningen formas med förkortade varv. När oket är klart sätts ärmarnas maskor på maskhållare medan bålen fortsätter stickas runt. Nederkanten av tröjan formas med förkortade varv strax innan resåren. Ärmarna stickas runt på strumpstickor eller med Magic Loop. Halskanten viks ner och sys fast.
