The Solo Beret is a quick knit and the perfect project for practising new skills. If you’ve not made a sideways knit Hat before, this would be a great first project!

With this Hat you’ll practice provisionally casting on, short rows and grafting. Download links for the necessary skills are included within the pattern, ensuring you get the help you need to hone your new skills and finish your Hat.

And with it’s sideways construction and cosy garter stitch, the Solo Beret is ideal for handspun or variegated yarns!

The pattern is provided in written format and includes 4 sizes, covering babies to large adults. Should you wish, you can also adjust your gauge for an even greater range of sizes.
