Solomon's knot scarf
This scarf is made using solomon’s knot stitch but not in it’s traditional way. But I am sure you will like it as well. It works up so quickly and makes beautiful gift. I am sure you will want make more than one! You can use different kind of yarns to get different look, sport weight yarn to get more delicate look, or bulky yarn to make it big and bulky! The sample is made using worsted weight yarn.
Skill level: intermediate
Sizes and measurements:
With worsted weight yarn and 4mm crochet hook the scarf should be 180cm (71inches) long and 30cm (12inches) wide. Though you can make it with any kind of yarn just keep in mind – thinner yarn you use thinner scarf you will get, and opposite.
Materials:
• worsted weight yarn approx. 200gr or 400yards. I used 80 % merino wool and 20% polyamide blend yarn
• crochet hook 4mm (G) or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge:
11 dc and 6 rows = 3inches (or 7,5 cm)
