This is a digital PDF only! This is a guide on how to create Solomon’s Shrug; with tips and directions on how to make it fit perfectly according to you! The PDF includes lots of pictures, typed-out instructions, and video links to aid you in creating your very own shrug.

The Solomon’s Shrug is an ethereal and seductive shrug made of a mesh and lacey-like stitch, adorned with ruffles at the wrists for all your dramatic needs. I wanted to design something that made me feel bold and witchy, all while feeling beautiful in it with all its intricate knots.

This pattern is recommended for intermediate crocheters. This project uses the following materials and stitches:

-5 mm crochet hook
-230 yards of category 4 yarn. Model pictures use Big Twist acrylic black yarn, and the picture tutorials use Big Twist acrylic white
-Scissors and darning needle for yarn ends
-Optional: measuring tape, stitch markers or safety pins

-ch: chain
-st/sts: stitch/stitches
-slst: slip stitch
-sc: single crochet
-dc: double crochet
-dc inc: two double crochet in one stitch (increase)
-: repeat bracket
-sk: Solomon’s knot stitch (this stitch is taught in the pattern)
-2 sk: make 2 Solomon’s knot stitch
