Gauge
Gauge is not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size. Gauge on sample: 21 st by 32 rows = 4x4in/10x10cm in garter stitch after blocking.

Needles and Notions
US 4/3.5mm 40in/100cm or larger (sample was knit on 60in) circular needle or size needed to attain gauge, 65+ stitch markers, and tapestry needle.

Notes
10%+ added to all yardages. Always carry the unused MC loosely while working the C1-21 rows. I’m using markers in the pattern, you can choose to use them or not use them as you see fit. I only reference markers on 7/8/9/10SWL rows, therefore if not noted, slip and/or place markers as necessary. Easily adjust size of shawl by using fewer colors, just end after the after the WS purl row and simply skip to the bind-off section.
