Some Kind of Wonderful
Kits are available on Barrett Wool Co. in Home Fingering in the same colors as the sample!
I was traveling recently, and I started a new and incredibly simple shawl at the tail end of the trip. I finished up the remainder of the shawl when I returned home. I really loved knitting this shawl and the results are so pleasing that I decided to share the pattern. I was trying to think of a name for the shawl and was playing around with various travel-related names, but nothing was sticking. Then when I was driving the song Some Kind of Wonderful came on the radio and the name just clicked.
This simple, fun to knit, wearable and most of all, beautiful three-color shawl really is some kind of wonderful!
Pattern Notes:
An exclusive video tutorial link is included in the pattern for how to do the bobble picot bind off.
The three-color shawl is worked horizontally and completely in garter stitch. Stitches are increased on one side only. In between the garter ridges, several eyelet sections are added for interest. The shawl ends with an extended eyelet section and is bound off with a bobble picot edging.
