Some Sort of Sweater
And good day to you!
I wanted a jacket-type sweater for tromping around the forest… so I made this. (I run around the forest collecting dyes… this can be found at www.wewilltellyouallofoursecrets.blogspot.com)
I used Briggs and Little wool because it is thick and durable. And from New Brunswick, Canada.
This pattern requires sewing. Sewing machine sewing! Please note this.
Or… If you just want the look of the front panel, just knit that and put it on your favorite sweater pattern!!
The modeled sweater is for a 38” bust. The yardage says between 700-1100 yards… that is for between size small to XL approximately. As this is a top-down raglan sweater, you knit until it fits you.
PLEASE buy one extra skein or ball of yarn when you knit a sweater. (Good life lesson…. i’ve learned it the hard way!)
The photos are taken by the lovely Softsweater
Thank you so much for looking at this!! Love!!
