This project came into being during the 2017 I-75 yarn crawl in Ohio. I picked up the yarn at Fiberge in Cincinnati, and by the time I got to Blessed Criations in Somerville, I had the hat planned in my head and couldn’t wait to get home and cast on!

Simple ribbing, basketweave, and a basic 2x2 cable make this a quick knit. It is a perfect last minute gift or great if you need to knit several for presents. Works in solid yarns, or self-striping. Would also look great in speckles, just choose a yarn with good stitch definition.
