Something Blue
This pattern brings together a few fantastic skills – toe-up socks, short-row heels, tubular bind-off – which are the foundation for some seriously lazy sock-knitting, once you get the hang of them.
Something Blue is a one-size, short-cuffed summer cotton sock that knits up quickly with a single $5 ball of Cascade Fixation. I’ve fallen in love with cotton socks, which are breathable, wash- and dryable (no more oops-felting your wool socks), and are perfect for summer knitting (and wearing). These adorable, comfortable anklets are quickly knit in a super-stretchy DK weight yarn that gives you a pair of socks to fit both Cinderella and her stepsisters.
