Something Blue Bridal Garter
Out of print.
This pattern was available
for £2.00.
My great-granny crocheted some beautiful doilies, I took the central flower motif (something old) and turned it into a delicate petal garter (something new) in a beautiful soft blue to make ‘Something Blue’.
This is a beautiful garter for any bride, a future heirloom in the making.
This pattern could also be used to make edgings for other items in the wedding (shawls, collars, bridesmaids outfits, to decorate a candle holder.)
Skills needed: chain, slip stitch, trebles (US doubles) working in the round and working around a previous chain.
This pattern is written in UK crochet terminology with US translations provided.
