Construction Details
This back and front of this sweater are made as two separate pieces. After the shoulders are seamed together, the neckline is picked up and worked. Then the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked down toward the wrist. After knitting the sleeves, the side and sleeves are seamed.

Sizes: XS/S (M/L, XL/XXL, 3XL/4XL)

Finished measurements: 64 (72, 80, 88)”/162.5 (183, 203, 223.5) cm circumference and 18 (18, 19, 19)”/45.75 (45.75, 48.25, 48.25) cm length. The pattern includes a schematic with additional finished measurements.

Yarn: 785 (875, 1025, 1125) yards of chunky weight (CYCA #5) yarn or equivalent yardage in each of multiple yarns held together.

Our sample was made with 1 strand each of:
Chelsea Luxe Cozy DK (100% superwash merino, 240 yards per skein) 4 (4, 5, 5) skeins.
Chelsea Luxe Mohair (72% kid mohair and 28% silk, 459 yards per skein) 2 (2, 3, 3) skeins.

To achieve the correct weight using multiple strands of yarn, we suggest holding 1 strand of DK weight (CYCA #3) together with 1 strand of fingering weight (CYCA #1) mohair OR holding 2 strands of fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarn together with 1 strand of fingering weight (CYCA #1) mohair.

Gauge: 12 stitches and 17 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch using yarns held together on size needle to obtain gauge. The fabric is intended to be loose and soft to ensure proper drape.

Needles: US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 32”/80 cm and 16”/40 cm circular needle or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Other Materials: tapestry needle.
