My first motif.Suitable for bedspread..An irish crochet flower would look nice in center of star. Constructed using lace bobble pattern. Gauge is not critical. There are free Irish crochet flowers. One I used for this. Was from CrochetRealm. Mandala. Its on ravelry.. I used the first 7 pages of her pattern. It turned out nice. Of course, I did not include this as it is not mine. Pattern is not blocked. In picture shown. Joining method not included.
