Something Fishy is a yoked jumper for babies and children aged 6 months to 6 years. It is knitted in parts to the yoke where it is joined onto longer needles or a circular one, and it continues to be knitted in rows. The sleeves are plain to avoid small fingers catching in loops on the reverse, and there is a button fastening for ease of dressing. I used Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino for the softness and range of colours but you could use any good quality 4 ply to achieve an excellent result. You will need 3 (3) (4) (5) x 50g in your main colour (Mint) and 1 x 50g of 3 additional colours for all sizes. Three 12-15 mm diameter buttons are also required.
