Something Fishy Hat and Scarf
Pattern includes instructions for making the funny fish and trout hats in child to adult sizes. Also, includes a fish tail scarf.
Skill level: easy with basic crochet skills. Must know how to read a crochet pattern.
Materials and Details
Yarn: worsted weight in choice of colors
Variation: the light green trout sample was made with two skeins Red Heart Yarn Medley in Garden color. It is a bulky weight yarn. I used an I hook for the entire hat and there was only a small size difference.
Crochet Hooks: H, I
Miscellaneous: yarn needle, 2 small black buttons for eyes
Gauge: 4” with I hook = 10 rounds and 12.5 hdc
Sizes:
Hats: Child (ages 4-8), Preteen-Adult
Scarf: 5” wide x 62” or desired length.
