Something For The Long Weekend
1 x Knitting pattern for Something For The Long Weekend
Who doesn’t love a long weekend? The weekend starts as usual, but just as you get that Sunday sinking feeling you realise you’ve got longer before the daily grind begins again. And this design captures that vibe perfectly: just as you feel a bit deflated as you finish the first part of this pattern, you realise you still have another to do!
This elegant scarf has two complementary triangular sections arranged and joined to allow the eyelet motif to flow throughout the work. It can also be styled as a shawl with the asymmetric ends adding extra dramatic appeal. Brooches and shawl cuffs can also help style it just as you want!
Being sectional, this design also gives you the opportunity to be really creative with your colour choices. From bold individual colours, subtle fades or even a single colour they will all look amazing.
And as a bonus you also get patterns for two smaller scarves that you can recreate individually too!
As with all my patterns, this project is great for knitters of all abilities. It’s ideal for beginners looking for projects with a slight challenge, but it’s also a fun, rhythmic pattern that even the most seasoned knitter will find entertaining.
I really hope you find knitting this pattern as enjoyable as I do.
Happy Knitting!
