Description: Something Old is a remake of my checkered braids pattern and therefore the name. It is a bottom-up sleeveless top with a single cable pattern in the middle of front flowing into the turtleneck. Front is worked in rev st st while back is worked in st st. The top has dropped sleeves and oversized fit, around 4”/10cm of positive ease. It is made in mohair silk yarn for sheerness but could be made in solid wool yarn as well. Sample was made in size S.
Sizes: XS (S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) to fit standard sizes 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62)” / 71-76 (81-86, 91.5-96.5, 101.5-106.5, 111.5-117, 122-127, 132-137, 142-147, 152-158) cm
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) circular needles 24”/61cm long
Gauge:20sts x 28rounds = 4”/10cm in st st working in round. Use the needle size that will get you the correct gauge.
Yarn: 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins of One Lupine Stillwater yarn; 70% mohair/30%silk; lace weight; 540yds (494)m/56g. I used 1.5skeins for size S.
Notions: sts holder or waste yarn, sts markers.
