Somewhat biased socks
I may be somewhat biased, but for me, these easy socks are for me the perfect combination of easy knitting and a fun detail that is easy to memorize and work.
Designed to give just a bit of interest to a vanilla sock in a favourite sock yarn and it is easy to memorize the pattern for travel. These are ideal for self striping yarns that can obscure more complicated stitch patterns.
Pattern contains
The pattern is fully written out and charted (short rows for the heel are written out only).
Two options for the toe are given - a narrow wedge toe and a medium wedge toe. It is simple to substitute your preferred method if you wish,
Written with a Fleegle heel, but it is again simple to change to your preferred heel method.
Sizes
The pattern contains negative ease. Foot lengths are easily adjustable.
To fit woman’s foot sizes:
XS-S:17.5/7 inches and 23cm/9in in length
S-M: 20.5/ 8 in circumference and foot length 25.5cm/10in
M-L: 23cm/9 in circumference and foot length 28cm/11 in
Shown on a foot 21.5cm circ and 23.5cm long in the M. Length is easily customizable and it is simple for the experienced knitter to customize width with additional stitches between the pattern stitches.
