Son of Dog Days II: Oneiros
Oneiros is a small shawl/kerchief with many style-referencing options, including “chiton” and “hobbit cloak.”
Knit Son of Dog Days II: Oneiros, a distorted triangle kerchief worked on the bias, by following the .PDF as written. Or customize your project to knit a shawl that’s any size you like!
Materials:
- 190-200 yards of Malabrigo Yarn Sock or similar, shown in Ivy
- 1 24-40”circular needle in US5/3.75mm, or size needed for gauge
- Tapestry needle
- one ~1” button
Gauge:
Gauge is sts and rows over 4”/10cm in pattern.
Measurements/Sizes:
As shown in size small, this project is kerchief- to mini-shawl sized, about 16“/41cm deep, 26.5“/67cm along the topline, and 33.5”/85cm along the lower (longest) edge.
The .PDF includes the key to adding repeats, so you can make a shawl that’s any size you like! There’s also a written-out option to make a larger mini-shawl, but the current schematic shows the measurements for the smaller size option.
