Are you looking for a model of a stylish and versatile hat for your son or husband? What about the family-look?
I designed a men’s beanie that is so simple and at the same time so elegant. Minimalism is exactly what many men and boys like so much.
Such hat is perfect for the first cool and windy days. Because the main emphasis here is on the warming of ears. A double layer around the ears will take care of them. Also, such hat is suitable for those areas where the air temperature is not lower than 0.
The hat has fixed folded brim. This not only adds a lot of warmth around the ears, but also a more secure fit on the head. Because let’s be frank, there’s nothing worse than a hat that keeps slipping off.
The crown of the hat is quite round (and not pointed at all) because I wanted a beanie that fitted the head but with a slight slouch so it didn’t look like a skull cap.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up in stocking stitch.
The hat has a folded brim. The height of the brim is fixed.

YARN:
The hat is knitted with 1 strand DROPS Fabel. You can use any other yarn of similar thickness (wool yarn Group A/4 ply) of about 200 m (218 yds)/50g also.
Please take your time to knit a gauge swatch to achieve the correct size. If you have too many stitches, you should switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches – switch to smaller needles.
