Song of Peace Hat is a unique knit hat with a featured cabled brim.

This hat was designed with Worsted weight yarn. The yarn shown is Vanna’s Choice. However, any heavy worsted weight yarn will work.

This hat comes in 4 sizes (allow 3” positive ease):
6 – 12 yrs - 18” x 9½” 45.7 cm x 24.1 cm
Small - 19” x 10 ½” 48.3 cm x 26.7 cm
Medium - 20” x 11” 50.8 cm x 27.9 cm
Large - 21” x 11 ½” 53.3 cm x 29.2 cm

Fit:
6-12 yrs: Fits approximately 20” - 21” head
Small: Fits approximately 21” - 22” head
Medium: Fits approximately 22” - 23” head
Large: Fits approximately 23” - 24” head

Needles: 2 x 5 mm US 8 needles
6 mm US 10 circular needles (16” - 20”)
1 – cable needle
4 x 6 mm US 10 dpns

Amount of yarn required:
6-12 yrs: 150 yrds
Small: 175 yrds
Medium: 200 yrds
Large: 250 yrds

The brim is knit first and stitches are picked up to knit the top of this hat. The brim could also be used as a headband.

This pattern comes with written instructions as well as a chart for the brim.
