This pattern was designed in honor of my first granddaughter - Wren, born in September, 2016.

Most of the body is worked flat with the intarsia method of colorwork. The wings are worked in the round and seamed to body afterward. The pattern includes several pictures to help you along the way because if you’re like me, visuals are a good thing. :-)

Songbird is 5-6 inches long from beak to tip of tail, and 2-3 inches tall, depending on which yarn you choose. I’ve made many of them in both DK and light worsted weight yarn - all on size 2 needles.
