SONIA: Color against the snow or whatever background you choose for this dramatically striped sweater, for it’s guaranteed to make you the cynosure of all eyes. And you need not be an experienced knitter to make it successfully.
Measurements: Length from top of shoulder, 19in.; bust, 32-34in.; length of sleeve seam (cuff turned back), 19in.
Materials Required: 5 ounces “Sun-Glo” Shrinkproof 4 - ply fingering wool, shade No. 922 (oatmeal), 3oz. No. 2138 (red) ; 2oz. No. 2089 (green); 2oz. No. 2105 (navy); 2 prs. needles, Nos. 9 and 11; 1 crochet hook; 1 zipp fastener.
(Nos. 9 and 11 needle sizes are old UK sizes)
