Sonnet Socks
Sonnet Socks are knit in the round from the cuff down using the magic loop method. They feature a stretchy cuff with a rolled edge detail and a scattering of textured mock cable stitches along the leg and foot, created without the use of a cable needle. The heel is constructed using the traditional heel flap with gusset, and toes are finished using gradual decreases. The pattern repeat is easy to memorise and quick to knit. The pattern is ideal for semi-solid or lightly speckled yarns that will show off the textured stiches. This pattern also includes instructions for the shorties version.
