I named this adorably ridiculous vest after Sonny Bono, whose fringed vest will forever be remembered in the annals of time. This pattern is an adaptation of the “Newborn Fur Wool Gilet” by Rosa Pomar on Ravelry.com. She has adapted an Erika Knight Pattern for a children’s vest to fit a newborn, and I have made some adjustments of my own to her charted pattern, including 4 extra rows, a garter stitch edge, and a kitchener bind off.

This pattern was created specifically to use 1 skein of Hedgehog Fibres Chubby.

Gauge is not important, but I have included mine as a reference.
