Sonoma Ruffle Scarf
With these scarves I wanted to capture a sense of light and airiness, combined with a feeling of movement and flow. At the same time, I was influenced by abstract color schemes. I love the way the Impressionists, used contrasting colors to create excitement without sacrificing an underlying serenity. I was also drawn to certain abstract expressionists, and their use of large blocks of color with blended transitional areas.
