Sonoma Vest
This one-size vest is a perfect first-garment project, as there is no shaping. Patterning includes the unique bead stitch, adding interest and a slight heft to the lower edges of the piece. It’s worked in cotton, making it perfect for layering throughout much of the year.

Finished Size 32” wide and 30” long from shoulder.
Yarn Omega Otoño (distributed by Creative Yarn Source) (100% mercerized cotton; 197 yd 180 m/ 3½ oz 100 g): #954 mauve, 9 skeins.
Hook Size I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle.
Gauge 13½ sts and 10 rows = 4” in st patt, blocked.
